Road Rangers
To reduce delays caused by disabled vehicles and accidents on Tampa Bay interstate highways, wrecker services (Road Rangers) are patrolling urban interstate areas every day of the week. The service is free to those who are assisted. Our drivers are there to assist you in time of need to ensure your safety. Please, do not offer tips to our drivers.

Reduced Speeds
Speed limits have been lowered in certain areas of the construction zones, making 55 MPH the standard throughout many of the interstate construction areas. Make sure you stay within the posted speed limits, as speeding fines are doubled in Florida construction zones.
Double Speeding Fines
Florida Statutes provide for speeding fines to be doubled in work zones when workers are present. These fines can exceed $500 depending on the location and speed of the violation.
