About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) contractor will be demolishing and rebuilding the northbound and southbound rest areas in Pasco County at mile marker 278. The northbound rest area is located north of State Road 56 (Exit 275); the southbound facility is south of County Road 54 (Exit 279).

The entire rest area will be closed to the public during the project. Motorists will NOT be able to exit I-75 to the rest area properties.

The FDOT regrets this inconvenience -- please understand that the total closure of the rest areas is needed for public safety during construction. For the nearest I-75 rest areas, please read below.
